Kickboxing Classes

What can I expect?

A typical kickboxing class starts with a warm-up and then some basic punches and kicks. Next, you’ll progress to more advanced techniques such as hooks, jabs, and roundhouse kicks. Finally, you’ll finish up with a cool down and stretch.

What are the benefits?

Kickboxing is a great way to improve cardiovascular fitness, strength, and coordination. It’s also a fun and challenging workout that can help you burn calories and lose weight. In addition, kickboxing can help improve your self-defence skills.

HIIT Training

What is HIIT training?

HIIT (high-intensity interval training) is a type of training that involves alternating between short bursts of high-intensity exercise and brief recovery periods.
What are the benefits?

HIIT is an effective way to improve cardiovascular fitness, burn calories, and boost metabolic rate. It can also help improve strength, speed, and agility.

How do I get started?

If you’re new to HIIT, start by doing a light warm-up followed by two or three 20-second intervals at 80-90% of your maximum heart rate.

After each interval, take a 30-second recovery break before starting the next one. As you get more comfortable with HIIT, you can gradually increase the duration of intervals and reduce rest time.

ZUU Fitness

What are ZUU fitness classes?

ZUU fitness classes are a variation of workouts that use bodyweight exercises to provide full-body conditioning. The movements are simple, fun, and can be done anywhere with no equipment needed.

ZUU uses your body weight as resistance. It was created by Nathan Helberg in Australia over a decade ago for use by elite athletes and the armed forces. The system is now used in over 68 countries.

What are the benefits of ZUU fitness?

ZUU fitness classes improve cardiovascular fitness, burn calories, and boost your metabolic rate. They can also help improve strength, speed, and agility.

Our ZUU Fitness classes are taught by our PT and ZUU Fitness expert Marvin, who is also a Ninja Warrior competitor.
